Scheduling an activity

1. From the View menu, choose either Contact View or Calendar.
   • From the Contact view, go to the record of the contact with whom you want to schedule an activity. From the Contact menu, choose Schedule Call, Schedule Meeting, or Schedule To-do. The Schedule Activity dialog box appears.
   • From the Calendar view, double-tap anywhere in the time slot where you want the activity to begin. The Schedule Activity dialog box appears.
2. Modify the options on the Schedule tab as required:
   • From the Activity Type drop-down list, select the type of activity you want to schedule.
   • From the Date drop-down calendar, select the date on which you want to schedule the activity. The default date is today.
   • From the Time drop-down list, select the time at which you want to schedule the activity. The default time is now. If you do not want to assign a specific time to an activity, select the Timeless option.
   • From the Duration drop-down list, select the expected duration of the activity.
   • From the Priority drop-down list, select the priority of this activity (Low, Medium, or High).
   • Tap the Browse button to the right of the With field to select another contact with whom you want to schedule this activity.
   • From the Regarding drop-down list, select an option or type a description of the activity.
   • From the Associate With Group drop-down list, select the group with which you want to associate the activity.
   • Select the Set Alarm option to set an alarm for the activity. From the Alarm Lead Time drop-down list, select the length of time between the alarm and the scheduled activity.
   • Select the Private Activity option to specify that this is a private activity that no one else can see.
3. Tap OK to schedule the activity.
